Paintings by Carl Heinrich Bloch | (May 23, 1834 - February 22, 1890)
This gallery features prints of the religious paintings by the Danish artist Carl Bloch. Bloch was commissioned to paint 23 paintings of the life of Jesus Christ for the Chapel of Frederiksborg Palace in Denmark. Bloch completed the original paintings between 1865-1879.
